Works out of the box

works okay for standard apps, poor for games.

The ATI Radeon X200 is a decent IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) for desktop computing with no games or graphics taxing applications (like Google Earth).
I used to use Ubuntu 9.04 with this IGP and it worked fine with the default open source driver. I ran Google Earth and basic games like Secret Maryo Chronicles and all worked fine. But unfortunately 9.04 is about to lose all support and this IGP does not work well with the open source driver on 10.04 and higher. On Ubuntu 10.10 some games like Secret Mayro Chronicles don't run smoothly and Google Earth has many graphics glitches. And this is now considered a legacy card so there is no working Proprietary driver for Ubunt 9.10 or higher.
I rated this a 6 because it still works fine for basic task like internet, music & word processing.
However I do recommend this card to anyone who wants to use a modern distro due to poor graphics support from ATI.
