works fine - no issues or problems

** UPDATE ** Upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 64 Bit - still no issues
ASUS DRW-20B1LT DVD burner (SATA)
20x DVD +- R
12x DVD-RAM
48x CD-R
32x CD-RW
12x DVD+-R(DL)
Was able to boot using this drive to install Ubuntu 8.10 64Bit
Can play DVDs, Burn CDs, etc
Have not tested light scribe feature under Linux yet.
Home built PC spec running Ubuntu 8.10 64 Bit (dual boot Windows XP)
